The Pentagon is in the middle of the eye of the storm.

What just happened left Americans speechless.

And Pete Hegseth was forced to make one brutal choice after seeing this shocking report.

President Trump is in negotiations with Iran to eliminate their nuclear program and end the war.

It’s not just Iran trying to figure out Trump’s preferred course of action.

Israel is also seeking to determine the path Trump will choose.

And the Department of War under Pete Hegseth reportedly just raised the counterintelligence threat assessment Israel poses to U.S. officials as “critical,” the highest designation possible.

“The Pentagon’s Defense Intelligence Agency in recent weeks issued the new counterintelligence threat assessment amid rising tensions between Israel and the U.S. over the way forward in the war with Iran, the officials said. They said the DIA posted an internal message, viewed by one of the current officials, that raised the level for Israel to “critical,” the NBC report began.

NBC went on to report that “The designation stems from concerns within the Pentagon that Israel is making a particular effort to surveil top U.S. officials to get information on the Trump administration’s internal deliberations and decision-making on the conflicts in the Middle East, the officials said.”

Israel is attempting to surveil American officials in the hopes of figuring out if Trump plans to pursue a deal with Iran, his stated desired outcome, or resume combat operations.

“The U.S. already takes extra precautions when visiting Israel,” an American official told NBC News about Israel’s counterintelligence operations against the Trump administration. “They’re well-known to aggressively collect.

U.S. officials told the New York Times that Israel’s intelligence gathering operations against the Trump administration are “unhinged” and targeting “Steve Witkoff, President Trump’s top negotiator, Elbridge A. Colby, the Pentagon’s top policy official, and one of his main deputies, Michael P. DiMino IV.”

The report also revealed that Israel attempted to bug the Pentagon in 2021.

“In 2021, Israeli military intelligence officers were caught planting listening devices at D.I.A. headquarters,” the Times went on to report.

At this point in the war, America’s and Israel’s objectives are beginning to diverge.

Trump wants a quick end to the war and an agreement that eliminates the Iranian nuclear threat.

Israel wants a longer war to force regime change and eliminate the threat the Iranian government poses to Israeli national security.

Trump confirmed a report by Axios that he took Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to the woodshed in a phone call where Netanyahu pushed Trump to continue the war.

“You’re ******** crazy. You’d be in prison if it weren’t for me. I’m saving your ***. Everybody hates you now. Everybody hates Israel because of this,” a U.S. official with knowledge of the call told Axios.

Netanyahu then contradicted Trump about a potential ceasefire in Lebanon, a key to reaching a broader agreement with the Iranians.

Trump posted on Truth Social that Israel wouldn’t move its army into Lebanon.

“I had a conversation with Bibi Netanyahu today, asking him not to go into a major raid of Beirut, Lebanon. He turned his Troops around. Thank you, Bibi! I also had a conversation with Representatives of the Leaders of Hezbollah, and they agreed to stop shooting at Israel and its soldiers. Likewise, Israel agreed to stop shooting at them. Let’s see how long that lasts — Hopefully it will be for ETERNITY!” Trump posted on Truth Social.

Netanyahu then defied Trump and declared that combat operations would continue.

“Tonight, I spoke with President Trump and told him that if Hezbollah does not cease attacking our cities and citizens—Israel will attack terror targets in Beirut.

This stance of ours remains unchanged. In parallel, the IDF will continue to operate as planned in southern Lebanon,” Netanyahu wrote on X.

President Trump is trying to manage the war and bring it to a conclusion in victory.

And Israel is apparently going all-out to penetrate Trump’s decision-making process.
