Clinton appeared with lawyer Marc Elias, who helped put together the Christopher Steele hoax dossier in the 2016 election, on his podcast, where Clinton told Democrats and the deep state they should fear Trump’s pick for Acting Director of National Intelligence, Bill Pulte.
“You should definitely be worried about everything. This is a naked partisan takeover of the Director of National Intelligence, which was formed following 9/11 to try to coordinate the various intelligence agencies better, you know, the CIA, the NSA; there are like 17 of them, because we missed a lot of signals that we should have paid attention to leading up to 9/11. It was thought in this legislation that created the Department of Homeland Security and the DNI that this would be a better coordinating mechanism. I think there are a lot of problems with it, but it is at the hub of all of our intelligence. The DNI has access to everything, everything that they want to see. I mean, I hope there are career and even political appointees in various agencies that are slow-walking or refusing to share information with Pulte,” Clinton stated.
Clinton even went so far as to demand that Democrats wage lawfare to stop Pulte from taking the position.
“But I would also call out too, I don’t know why there hasn’t been a lawsuit brought. He is manifestly unqualified under the statute to hold that position; I would argue even in an acting role. They’re not gonna nominate him thinking they can avoid the collision with the statutory requirements, but somebody ought to be bringing a lawsuit to test it, to try to enjoin him until the merits are decided as to whether an acting DNI doesn’t have to comply with the requirements, which strikes me as another tortured argument that is worth trying to test,” Clinton added.
Clinton was right to be worried as President Trump tasked him with draining the swamp, a task Pulte wasted no time in achieving as he fired dozens of deep state operatives the second he took office.
“An intelligence official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity due to potential reprisal, told MS NOW that the individuals being removed by the Trump administration are officials who they believe are deep state. Intelligence leadership alleges that the fired workers have not provided complete pictures of available intelligence,” MS NOW reported.
In Trump’s first term, Adam Schiff helped run the Ukraine impeachment hoax through the Office of the Director of National Intelligence with a phony whistleblower complaint about Trump’s phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Pulte swinging the ax at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence cleared out many of the agent saboteurs Democrats hoped to count on to spring a new impeachment hoax at Trump if they win Congress this November.
