Kamala Harris looks like she is gearing up to run for President a third time in 2028.
But some bad news hit Kamala Harris like a freight train.
And one secret poll spells doom for Kamala Harris.
Lindy Li was a top Democrat Party fundraiser who left he party in 2024 over the cover-up of Joe Biden’s senility and elevation of Kamala Harris to lead the ticket.
Li is out with a new book, “Unburdened,” where she spills the tea about the rigged process Democrats employed to pick Kamala at the expense of other candidates who stood a better chance of beating Trump simply because of DEI.
In an interview with Fox News, Li revealed that after Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama’s pressure campaign forced Biden to drop out of the race following his debate meltdown, the party conducted internal polling about the best candidate to take on Trump.
The results didn’t fit with the coronation that propelled Kamala to the nomination.
“The polling numbers went directly against the narrative that the party wanted to espouse,” Li stated.
But Li said Democrats were trapped by the reality that bypassing Kamala for another candidate would ifuriate black women, the party’s most loyal voting block.
“They knew that skipping over Kamala Harris would be a slap in the face to the bedrock of the party, which is Black women in particular, and they just wouldn’t have it,” Li added.
Kamala was such a weak candidate that the Democrats’ secret polling showed Pete Buttigieg, who received 0% black support in other polls, was among the candidates who tested better against Trump.
“Kamala Harris came in dead last. It wasn’t even close. Pete Buttigieg, who hilariously received 0% support from the Black vote, did better than she did. And yet the party is so straitjacketed by DEI that they had no choice but to appoint her,” Li said.
“I’m part of the National Finance Committee. The list of membership is guarded like the papal conclave. But people talk. It’s a very small group of people. That poll was commissioned internally,” Li continued.
Li explained that as a major donor, she would always view candidate polling skeptically, as she understood it was a tool to convince donors to open their checkbooks.
But in this case, the donors commissioned the polling, which meant she had to take it seriously.
“Most of the time I would say I don’t believe a candidate’s polling because it’s basically just funded propaganda. But in this case, we wanted an objective overview of who could actually mount the most formidable opposition to Trump,” Li went on to say.
Li reiterated that Democrats buried these polling results under lock and key and went along with nominating Kamala out of fear of Kamala’s online fans smearing them as racists for picking a stronger candidate.
“People were terrified of the online mob. The K-Hive isn’t that numerous, but they’re very, very toxic and they’re very coordinated. No one wants to be labeled as a racist,” Li concluded.
Nancy Pelosi was the first to admit Democrats knew Kamala was doomed from the start, telling the New York Times in her exit interview from Congress that she led the push to oust Biden from the ticket, assuming Democrats would hold an open process to pick a new nominee.
“The anticipation was that, if the president were to step aside, that there would be an open primary,” Pelosi declared.
Pelosi strongly hinted that she expected an open primary would have led Democrats to pick someone other than Kamala.
“And as I say, Kamala may have, I think she would have done well in that and been stronger going forward. But we don’t know that. That didn’t happen. We live with what happened. And because the president endorsed Kamala Harris immediately, that really made it almost impossible to have a primary at that time. If it had been much earlier, it would have been different,” Pelosi went on to say.
But Democrats are the party of DEI.
Kamala Harris ended up as Joe Biden’s running mate because she was a black woman, and her race and gender ended up forcing Democrats to accept her as the nominee in 2024.
