Abdul El-Sayed’s candidacy is weighed down by his association with radical America-hating streamer Hasan Piker.

Piker praised Mao, mocked Charlie Kirk’s assassination, and declared that America “deserved’ 9/11.

Yey El-Sayed campaigned with Piker and even spent the night before his primary at a pool party with Piker.

Republicans are planning to pour tens of millions of dollars into Michigan, slamming El-Sayed as an anti-American socialist for supporting a scheme to ban private health insurance and for his bond with Piker.

But Piker reached a breaking point that forced El-Sayed to toss Piker under the bus following an interview with Axios where Piker declared the U.S. military was a worse terrorist organization than al-Qaeda.

“I do not agree with this statement [on al-Qaeda], nor do I give much weight to the statements made by a social media streamer. I am more concerned with the dangerous policies of Donald Trump and Mike Rogers that are raising the prices of gas, groceries and healthcare for Michiganders,’ a statement from El-Sayed read.

In the interview, Piker outrageously claimed the U.S. military was as bad as Al Qaeda in terms of “pound-for-pound as far as the number of deaths, yes.” 

“We have caused tremendous terror all around the world,” he followed. 

 “I think that that is not only terror that we are waging on regular civilians in nations in the periphery, but it’s also having consequences on ourselves. It’s having dramatic consequences on the home front,” Piker added.

El-Sayed only claimed he “disagreed” with Piker smearing those who serve in uniform as worse than Islamic terrorists.

And El-Sayed never explained why he associates with such a person or if Piker is a member of his coalition in good standing.

Attacking the U.S. military as more evil than Al Qaeda is beyond the pale.

And now El-Sayed, and every other Democrat running for office, will have to answer for Piker and his anti-American rhetoric.
