New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez keeps feeding the speculation that she is running for President in 2028.

It looks like that’s no longer just rumors.

And AOC said she was called by God to make this life-changing decision.

Whenever candidates lay the groundwork for a Presidential campaign, they start to talk about their faith.

There may not be one politician in America more associated with secularism than Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

That’s why it stood out that Ocasio-Cortez appeared at the National Baptist Convention in Orlando.

It was also noticeable that she tried to describe herself as a spiritual tool of God to advance socialism.

Ocasio-Cortez claimed her national speaking tour with Bernie Sanders in red states was a mission sent to her from God.

“Why would you go to Idaho? Why would you go to Montana? Why would you go to Utah?” Ocasio-Cortez ad. “I felt very called.”

Ocasio-Cortez framed a string of socialist victories, including a judge striking down Utah’s Congressional map allowing Democrats to steal a House seat, as divined from God and said that she was “amazed watching how God works”

“We said we must have the faith of a mustard seed. We must organize anyway,” Ocasio-Cortez added. “One year later, out of nowhere, a judge strikes down Utah’s map, and they are ordered to redraw. And it is only because of the organizing that we did in faith when there was no evidence.”

“You’ve got someone coming in making a mess of everything, and that allows us to rebuild it all from scratch,” she said.

Democrats love to try to appropriate Jesus as a symbol of socialism because he taught taking care of the poor.

But Jesus’ teachers were of individual charity, voluntary generosity, and moral responsibility.

This isn’t the first time Ocasio-Cortez has spoken of her political ambitions in messianic terms.

In a discussion in Chicago with former Obama chief strategist David Axelrod, Ocasio-Cortez claimed her ambitions transcended electoral politics.

“They assume that my ambition is positional; they assume that my ambition is a title or a seat,” Ocasio-Cortez declared. “And my ambition is way bigger than that. My ambition is to change this country.”

“Presidents come and go; Senate, House seats, elected officials come and go, but single-payer healthcare is forever,” Ocasio-Cortez continued. “A living wage is forever. Workers’ rights are forever. Women’s rights, all of that.”
