Vice President JD Vance helped kick off the Republican Party’s 2026 midterm campaign.
Then the unthinkable happened.
And JD Vance had one savage response after a protester waved a Mexican flag at him.
The Vice President delivered the keynote address on the second night of the GOP convention in Dallas.
Vance sought to frame the election as a choice between the Democratic Party’s socialist agenda and the victories achieved by the Trump administration.
“Two years ago, we had to remember that our nation, ladies and gentlemen, was tired. We were tired of seeing our factories closed, we were tired of our neighbors dying of drug overdoses,” Vance stated.
Vance noted that President Trump sealed the borders and took a law-and-order approach that saw crime plummet nationwide.
“We were tired of not being able to afford anything. We were tired of seeing the cartels and the criminals given free rein over our great country,” Vance added.
Vance also praised the fact that Trump’s victory ended woke cancel culture and that Trump putting together the most diverse GOP coalition in generations shut up liberals who smeared Republicans as racists.
“And we were tired of being called racist for noticing that our country was becoming dirtier and poorer and less safe and less prosperous,” Vance said.
“By the end of 2024, you were tired; we were tired as a country, but you were not defeated. The radicals in Washington, they could take much from us, but they could not take our will to fight back!” Vance declared.
At that moment, security escorted out a protestor waving a Mexican flag, a fact that Vance alerted the viewing audience to.
“What the people at home missed is that we just had a protestor interrupting us and waving the Mexican flag,” Vance exclaimed.
Then Vance brought the crowd to its feet by admonishing the protestor that if he liked Mexico so much, he would buy the man’s plane ticket to send him back.
“Well– My friend, if you like Mexico so much, get your *ss over there; I will buy you the plane ticket,” Vance roared.

Vance then joked that he would have to change his prepared remarks because a leftist totting the Mexican flag proved to be a better symbol of the left’s vision for the country than anything he planned to say.
“I had, ladies and gentlemen, I had a whole speech written. But I think I have to change it because we just discovered the symbol of the far left, an idiot waving an American– or a Mexican flag at a protest when he should be waving the flag of the United States of America,” Vance concluded.
