Many Americans consider Barack Obama to be the worst President in history.
Trump just provided more ammo for that argument.
And Trump just exposed Barack Obama’s act of treason to help this enemy.
President Trump has long said Barack Obama’s nuclear agreement with Iran was the worst deal in American history.
Trump terminated the deal in 2018, arguing that it put Iran on a glide path to a nuclear weapon.
In an interview on Fox & Friends, Trump defended ending the deal after informing Congress that the war with Iran was back.
Trump then accused Obama of acting as an Iranian agent in agreeing to the deal, saying Obama went to their “side.”
“You know he’s a… well… let’s not say,” Trump said. “Let’s not say; let’s leave that for another time. He was terrible.”
Trump argued Iran stuffed Iran’s bank accounts, enabling the rogue regime to fund acts of terror.
“Obama was the worst of all. Obama went to their side, you know, because he’s—well, let’s not say. Let’s leave that for another time. He was terrible. He allowed Iran—he gave them $1.7 billion in green cash, in satchels, on an airplane, and brought it to Tehran. $1.7 billion,” Trump stated.
“Did you ever see a million dollars in cash? This is $1.7 billion. It took up an entire Boeing 757. They flew it to Tehran and gave it to people waiting for the plane. These people had never seen money like that, and now they had $1.7 billion in cash, and hundreds of billions in cash and everything else,” Trump added.
Trump then slammed Obama and Joe Biden for entering into a “stupid” deal that Trump ended.
“He went to their side, and they built and became more powerful because of Obama. And Biden, who was vice president—he probably had nothing to say. He was such a stupid person. I held them down. I stopped them. The JCPOA—I stopped it,” Trump continued.
Trump maintained that the deal Obama gave Iran handed them everything they needed to build a nuclear weapon, an outcome Trump argued was unacceptable for the entire world.
“And I stopped it very powerfully. I ended that agreement. It was the worst agreement signed by this country—one of the top five worst agreements. It basically gave them everything, and they built and built and built… and they were minutes away from a nuclear weapon,” Trump concluded.
Now that the war with Iran has restarted, Americans are hoping Trump can bring it to a quick close as possible and with victory.
Trump promised to avoid forever wars; this conflict, extending into the midterm election campaign, would not bode well for Republicans.
