President Trump knows time is running out to pass the SAVE Act.
Trump just turned up the heat in a major way.
And Trump warned that Republicans will be called one bad name for refusing to pass the SAVE Act.
The House and the Senate rammed through a monstrosity of a so-called “housing” bill that Congress claimed would address the issue of home affordability.
But the legislation, championed in the Senate by Elizabeth Warren, was really a Democratic scheme to flood Republican suburbs with low-income, multi-family housing.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump declared he wasn’t signing the bill in protest of the idea that it was ridiculous that Congress could pass a phony housing bill but not the SAVE Act, a commonsense election integrity measure backed by 80 percent of the American people.
“I will not sign the Housing Bill, which has been fully approved by Congress and sent to the White House, in PROTEST over the fact that the United States Senate is not capable of passing THE SAVE AMERICA ACT, which is polling at 97% with the Republican Party, and very high with the non-politician Democrats,” Trump wrote.
Trump explained how the SAVE Act would protect elections by eliminating fraud.
“The Act states, quite simply, that to vote, a person must show PHOTO VOTER I.D., PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP, AND THAT THERE WILL BE NO MORE CROOKED, CORRUPT, & DESTABILIZING MAIL-IN BALLOTS (EXCEPTIONS for Military, Disabled, Illness, and Travel!),” Trump added.
Trump called out Senate Republicans for refusing to eliminate the filibuster so they could pass the SAVE Act.
“THE SAVE AMERICA ACT’S non-passage is CRAZY and a serious threat to any politician who votes against it! If the Democrats, or any RINO (or worse!) working with them, do not allow a positive Vote on SAVE AMERICA, TERMINATE THE FILIBUSTER, and pass this and every other Bill that true Republicans have ever dreamt of (In addition to the upcoming Budget BOMB and the 1929 catastrophic style DEBT CEILING BILL!),” Trump added.
Trump warned that when they had power, the Democrats wouldn’t return the favor and would nuke the filibuster at the first chance they got.
“The Dumocrats will TERMINATE THE FILIBUSTER, if and when they ever get the chance to do so, in their very first hour – And I will no longer be able to call them Dumocrats again!” Trump continued.
Trump declared Republicans would forever be known as “dumb” for not abolishing the filibuster and allowing Democrats to win the 2026 election so they could then wipe out the filibuster to impose their socialist agenda on America.
“The title of DUMB will revert to the Republicans who allowed this horrible calamity to happen to our Party and our Nation itself!” Trump concluded.
