This was the third attack on President Trump.
Americans were speechless.
And then Trump just broke his silence on the WHCD assassination attempt with these six words.
31-year-old Californian Cole Allen, who donated to Kamala Harris’ 2024 Presidential campaign through ActBlue, allegedly shot a police officer as he tried to storm the ballroom hosting the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner while President Trump was in attendance.
BREAKING: President Trump and some cabinet members rushed out of White House Correspondents’ dinner.
There are reports of possible shots fired.

Allen later reportedly told law enforcement that his goal was to shoot Trump administration officials.
Secret Service agents hustled Trump to safety, where President Trump later posted on Truth Social that his preference was that the event continue as scheduled once law enforcement got the situation under control.
“Quite an evening in D.C. Secret Service and Law Enforcement did a fantastic job. They acted quickly and bravely. The shooter has been apprehended, and I have recommended that we ‘LET THE SHOW GO ON,’ but will be entirely guided by Law Enforcement. They will make a decision shortly. Regardless of that decision, the evening will be much different from planned, and we’ll just plain have to do it again. President DONALD J. TRUMP,” Trump posted on Truth.
Trump later updated reporters at a press conference that, due to the Secret Service’s advice, the event was canceled.
The President praised law enforcement for stopping the gunman before he killed anyone.
“To see a man charge at a security checkpoint armed with multiple weapons— and he was taken down by some very brave members of Secret Service, and they acted very quickly,” Trump stated.
“Everyone owes a tremendous debt of gratitude to the courage of law enforcement and working with the D.C. police, and … just spoke with the mayor. When we are finished, the police chief is going to take over and discuss it also from their viewpoint,” Trump added. “They also performed exactly as they were supposed to, and you see the attacker in different positions. You also see the attacker totally subdued and under control.”
Trump then revealed that he “fought like hell to stay” because he believed picking up the dinner where it left off would send a signal that he and America wouldn’t be intimidated by leftist political violence, but that law enforcement forced the event to be rescheduled.
“We’re going to reschedule. We’re going to do it again. We’re not going to let anybody take over our society,” Trump concluded. “We’re not going to cancel things out because we can’t do that. We wanted to stay tonight. I will tell you, I fought like hell to stay, but it was protocol.”
