Donald Trump warned Republicans they needed to be on the lookout for Democratic Party election hijinks.
Trump now has all the proof he needs to say he was right.
And Trump just went nuclear after discovering these 500,000 illegal ballots.
President Trump blasted Maryland and its Democrat Governor Wes Moore over the state getting caught sending out 500,000 illegal mail-in ballots that must be reprinted and mailed out again.
“In Maryland, they sent out 500,000 illegal mail-in ballots, and they got caught!” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “So now, they’re going to send out 500,000 more mail-in ballots, but nobody knows what’s happening with the first 500,000 they sent. In addition, many of these Ballots went to Democrats, so any Republican running in Maryland doesn’t have a chance!”
Trump argued Maryland was a solid blue state in part because of chicanery and announced he was ordering Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche to investigate the matter.
“It never made sense to me that Maryland was considered an automatic Democratic state, but now I see why. I’m sure this has gone on for years,” Trump added. “I’m going to ask the Attorney General of the United States and the DOJ to bring an immediate investigation into this situation,” Trump added.
Maryland printed 500,000 ballots with the wrong party on them and mailed them out to voters ahead of the June 2026 primary.
“The state of Maryland will replace all of the mail-in ballots sent out so far ahead of next month’s primary election.
Elections Administrator Jared DeMarinis said Friday night an error caused by the state’s mail-in ballot vendor led some voters to get the wrong party ballot for the primary.
DeMarinis said he did not know how many voters received the wrong ballot, so out of an abundance of caution, the state is sending out new ballots to the more than 565,000 people who requested them as of Thursday,” WBAL reported.
Trump argued that this mail-in-ballot snafu demonstrated why the Senate needed to pass the SAVE America Act.
“We cannot, as a country, put up with this any longer!!!” Trump continued.
The SAVE America Act would mandate proof of citizenship to register to vote and a voter ID when casting a ballot.
And the version of the SAVE America Act that President Trump supports would ban mail-in voting, which Trump and many of his supporters believe opens the door for widespread voter fraud.
But RINO Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD) is allowing Democrats to kill the SAVE America Act through the filibuster and refuses to heed President Trump’s calls to change Senate rules to allow passage of the bill via a simple majority vote.
