Border Czar Tom Homan is the face of President Trump’s deportation operation.
That puts Homan on the front lines of the most significant domestic policy fight of Trump’s term.
And now Tom Homan made one dynamite promise that sent illegal aliens running.
Illinois Democrat Congresswoman Delia Ramirez set off a firestorm promising to abolish the Department of Homeland Security — the parent agency for ICE — so “our people” can roam America freely.
“We are going to abolish the Department of Homeland Security so our people will no longer have to live in fear,” Ramirez ranted.
Ramirez’s word choice could not have been more clarifying.
To Ramirez, “our people” are the illegal aliens that flooded America, and her goal is to end all deportations.

Conservatives argued that with words and actions, Democrats proved their loyalty is to illegal aliens from foreign lands above American citizens.
The promise to dismantle President Trump’s deportation operation grew more distressing to Republicans with each poll showing Democrats leading Republicans on the generic ballot question for control of Congress.
Homan tried to calm those nerves in an interview with Fox News’s Will Cain, during which Cain pressed Homan about Ramirez’s pledge to defund ICE.
Crime is dropping across America, and Homan attributed that large part to ICE deporting the lawless illegal aliens that embedded themselves in the nation’s cities.
“Well, I want to remind her ICE has arrested hundreds of thousands of public safety threats and removed them from our neighborhoods and communities, making this country safer. Over 60% of ICE arrests are criminals. That’s just a stone-cold fact. Hundreds of thousands have been removed from the country, and you see the crime rate going down. ICE has a lot to do with it. Plus, ICE is in charge of narcotics investigations, drug smuggling investigations, investigations involving technology being smuggled out of the country, given to our enemies to be used against our war fighters,” Homan began.
Homan explained that ICE’s functions extended beyond immigration and that its agents played a critical role in law enforcement and that Democrats would “never” succeed in abolishing ICE.
“They do human trafficking investigations,” Homan added. “So ICE is more the immigration, first of all. If you want to abolish ICE, start by abolishing Congress, because they wrote the law that ICE is enforcing. Oh, ICE isn’t making this up. They enforced the Immigration and Nationality Act, which was passed by Congress and signed by the president. If she doesn’t like what ICE is doing, then change the law. They will never abolish ICE. I will tell you what they’re going to do when they get back in control. They will starve them for money. They will starve them for money so they can’t do the job.”
Democrats lost the 2022 and 2024 elections due to Joe Biden destroying the quality of life in America by opening the border to more than 10,000,000 illegal aliens.
Homan warned Democrats never change their stripes; Ramirez’s comments showed they would open the border at the first chance, the second they seized power.
“And who’s going to remove the millions of people the Biden administration illegally released in the country?” Homan concluded. “That is the endgame here. They stood by quietly for four years, when we had the historic border invasion, when millions of illegal aliens were illegally released in the country. Now they want to abolish the agency that’s in charge of finding them and deporting them. They haven’t changed a bit. This is the same open borders crowd that thinks there’s some future political benefit in having millions of illegal aliens in this country that they think will be future Democratic voters.”
