Nancy Pelosi Steamrolled One Rival With This Lunatic Accusation

Nancy Pelosi may be retiring from Congress, but she is still the leader of the Democratic Party.

Pelosi proved that true once again.

And Nancy Pelosi steamrolled one rival with this lunatic accusation.

Nancy Pelosi finally found a Democrat she found too radical to support, State Senator Scott Wiener.

Wiener is facing Pelosi’s endorsed candidate, San Francisco Supervisor Connie Chan, in the race to succeed Pelosi in Congress.

Pelosi blasted Wiener for creating an AI chatbot to parody Chan, accusing Wiener of racism and sexism.

“Women have spent generations fighting to have our own voices heard in the halls of power.  We should not have to now fight against artificial intelligence putting words in our mouths,” Pelosi wrote in a letter posted to social media condemning the chatbot.

Pelosi claimed it was racist for mocking Chan’s accent.

“I’m afraid my San Francisco accent is so thick I can barely understand myself, the chatbot stated,

“Using AI to fabricate a woman’s voice for ridicule or attack is a gross misuse of technology and reflects a disturbing willingness to erase women’s agency and reinforce the sexist tropes that have long been used to undermine women in public life,” Pelosi wrote.

The letter pulled a sleight of hand, claiming it was racist because Chan was Asian, so even satirizing her San Francisco accent was racist.

“When the target is a woman of color, those harms compound with racial stereotypes that have historically been used to question women’s credibility, leadership, and belonging,” the letter added.

Wiener and his campaign defended the chatbot at first, attacking Pelosi as a hypocrite for opposing Wiener’s AI safety bill and now complaining about how AI was used in a political campaign.

“Ironically, Speaker Emerita Pelosi is expressing concern about AI, when Speaker Emerita Pelosi played a key role, aligned with Big Tech, in killing my landmark AI safety bill, Senate Bill 1047, a bill that was broadly supported by pro-AI regulation advocates, labor unions, national security experts, biosecurity experts, and many progressive leaders,” the statement from Wiener read.

“Connie Chan is trying to use race and gender as a shield to prevent the public from knowing her entire record of blocking progress in San Francisco,” Wiener campaign spokesperson Joe Arellano said. He pointed to Wiener’s record of passing AI safety legislation, adding: “He’s been thinking about workers and safety and delivering on these issues for years. He won’t be learning on the job like Supervisor Chan.”

But Wiener eventually folded, as getting smeared as a racist woman hater by Pelosi is a death sentence in the Democrat Party.

“My campaign created ConnieChan.ai as a parody to draw attention to my opponent’s record of delay and obstruction around housing, public transit, and other critical needs,” a statement from Wiener announcing his campaign was taking down the chatbot read. “Today, we are taking down the chatbot, and the billboards that promoted it will come down soon.”
