Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman wants to keep everyone guessing about his true intentions.
But Fetterman may have dropped his biggest hint yet that he’s made up his mind.
And John Fetterman made one confession that left Trump supporters thinking the impossible.
John Fetterman continued his drift away from the Democrat Party during a Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs hearing where Dr. Anthony Fauci invoked his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination 111 times to avoid answering questions about his role in COVID’s origin, the cover-up of the lab leak theory, and the resulting lockdowns and mandates.
When it came time for his turn to speak, Fetterman disavowed his past dismissal of the idea that the coronavirus leaked into the world after an accident at the Wuhan Institute of Virology in Communist China as kneejerk Democrat partisanship.
“Something that I — it’s not about much more your regrets, but I have one. And that is, early on, there was the theory that the virus could have emerged from the lab. And early on, that became like a right-wing kinda theory. And I thought it seemed to make sense. Now, there was a really advanced lab that was close by, and then you have this unknown virus out. But that became a very partisan thing. It seems now it’s more and more emerging theory that that would have come from the lab,” Fetterman stated.
“Now, you know, I hope, I think that the next time our nation’s facing something like this, we not become, you know, as I might have been, blinded by the partisan idea that maybe the truth might come from a side that’s different than you are. I think we should be willing to pursue truth, no matter where that may have emerged,” Fetterman added.
Democrats and their allies in the fake news media smeared anyone who promoted the lab leak theory as a “conspiracy theorist” solely because President Trump said it was the likely cause of the pandemic and because the left feared that if the virus was the result of a hostile foreign government’s blunder, voters wouldn’t blame Trump for the lockdown and re-elect him.
Fetterman is once again trying to play both sides.
A recent poll out of Pennsylvania showed 58 percent of voters would cast a ballot for anyone but him if he runs for re-election in 2028.

Fetterman continues to want to play footsie with Republicans in case he wants to switch parties, as he likely believes the 58% would drop dramatically if he became a Republican since there is a chunk of current GOP voters who won’t support a Democrat.
But Fetterman is also keeping his options open to remain a Democrat if the party wins the majority in the Senate this fall by doubling down on his support for issues like transgender surgeries for minor children.
