Ilhan Omar’s moment of truth is fast approaching.
All hell is breaking loose after these bombshell developments.
And Ilhan Omar faces one brutal face if this lie is proven true.
From her first Congressional campaign in 2009, allegations that Omar married her brother in 2009 so he could fraudulently gain American citizenship followed her around.
President Trump and Vice President JD Vance promised Americans their administration was investigating these charges.
Reality hit home when the New York Times reported that federal agents seized Omar’s cell phone and issued subpoenas to her family members as part of a criminal investigation into if she committed immigration fraud through a sham marriage to her brother.
“Federal agents investigating Representative Ilhan Omar, Democrat of Minnesota, have issued subpoenas to some relatives as officials scour her family’s history for evidence of fraud and false statements in immigration paperwork, according to people familiar with the matter,” the Times reported.
Authorities also raided Omar’s home.
“A sister of Ms. Omar’s, Sahra Noor, received a subpoena, as did at least one other member of her family circle, according to people familiar with the investigation. On Monday, D.H.S. agents executed a search warrant at her home in Washington, carrying out boxes of documents, the people said, speaking on the condition of anonymity to discuss investigative steps,” the Times also reported.
House GOP Whip Tom Emmer is also from Minnesota.
Emmer is one of the establishment Republicans who supported mass migration and open borders in the past.
In 2015, Emmer co-founded the Somalia caucus in Congress and called a resident of St. Cloud, Minnesota “un-American” for wanting to limit Somali migration into America.
“If you’re asking me how I feel about immigrant populations who are in this country legally, and who are actually trying to find a better way for themselves and their families, I support it wholeheartedly,” Emmer said of Somali migration in a 2015 town hall event.
Now Emmer wants to draw a hardline on Omar to try and fit in with the modern GOP.
“If proven true, she should face consequences,” told Fox News.
Emmer stated that if Omar actually committed immigration fraud, she belongs in prison and then deported out of America.
“I would say first she should probably serve time in the gray bar motel and then get the hell out of here. She should go back to where she came from… [i]f it’s determined that she lied to gain citizenship,’ Emmer continued.
Omar baselessly claimed the raid was Trump weaponizing the government against a critic.
“I’m ok. Make no mistake: this is an attempt to target political enemies and weaponize federal law enforcement. For ten years, Trump has targeted me with baseless lies and smear campaigns. This is just the latest escalation in his campaign of political intimidation. I will not be silenced,” Omar stated.
Emmer wasn’t buying any of it.
“I think she is a liar,” Emmer said in response when Fox News asked him about Omar’s claim of victimhood. “I think she is a fraud.”
Emmer explained that the feds could only raid her house because a judge agreed there was probable cause of a crime.
“That judge had to determine that there was probable cause that a federal crime has been committed,” Emmer added. “And I’ll tell you what, as long as it was Ilhan Omar, it was going to be scrutinized to the very detail.”
“So the fact that they issued the warrant in the first place and then executed it, I mean, maybe after all these years, someone is finally going to hold Ilhan Omar accountable,” Emmer concluded.
