Eric Swalwell thought he could ride leading multiple anti-Trump with hunts to a higher office.
But Swalwell crashed and burned.
Now, a former model just accused Eric Swalwell of something so disturbing that it ended his career.
As American Patriot Daily reports:
Lonna Drewes held a press conference in Los Angeles and accused former Congressman Eric Swalwell of drugging her drink andraping her in 2018 at a Beverly Hills hotel.
“I believe he drugged my drink,” Drewes told reporters. “I only had one glass of wine. We were supposed to go to a political event, and he said he needed to get paperwork from his hotel room. When I arrived at his hotel room, I was already incapacitated and couldn’t move my arms or my body.”
“He raped me, and he choked me. And while he was choking me, I lost consciousness, and I thought I died,” Drewes added.
Drewes claimed the incident destroyed her life.
“It had a profound impact on my mental health. I self-medicated in an unhealthy way,” Drewes continued. “I did not want to live anymore. I cried all the time for years.”
Drewes also revealed she planned to file a police report “shortly.”
Fox News Channel’s Bill Melugin reported that “FEC records showing ‘Swalwell for Congress’ spent $361 in travel expenses at the Montrose Hotel on July 18th, 2018. “
This bombshell accusation came one day after Swalwell announced he would resign from Congress following a former staffer alleging he raped her after she was too drunk to consent to sex in 2019.
“I am deeply sorry to my family, staff, and constituents for the mistakes in judgment I’ve made in my past. I will fight the serious, false allegation made against me. However, I must take responsibility and ownership for the mistakes I made,” Swalwell’s resignation statement read.
“I am aware of efforts to bring an immediate expulsion vote against other members and me. Expelling anyone in Congress without due process, within days of an allegation being made, is wrong. But it’s also wrong for my constituents to have me distracted from my duties,” Swalwell continued.
“Therefore, I plan to resign my seat in Congress. I will work with my staff in the coming days to ensure they are able, in my absence, to serve the needs of the good people of the 14th congressional district,” Swalwell added.
Before this allegation, Swalwell’s scandal was of the political variety and ended his career.
Now, Swalwell, who helped lead the Russia collusion and January 6 witch hunts against President Trump, may be facing a criminal investigation that threatens his freedom.
