Democrats are pulling out all the stops to win back the majority in the U.S. Senate.

Alaska is one of two states that implement so-called “ranked choice” voting, where the top four candidates, regardless of party, advance out of the primary and into the general election, where voters then rank their preferences 1 through 4 to create a so-called “instant runoff” to eliminate candidates until one reaches 50 percent.
So-called “ranked choice voting” is a scheme to allow liberals to steal elections in red states where Democrats can gang up with RINOs to block conservatives and elect the most liberal candidate possible.
Democrats are hoping they can pull off this inside straight in November to oust Republican Senator Dan Sullivan.
Fox News reported that a political consultant who previously backed Democrat candidate Mary Peltola engineered a scheme to place a Democrat, Dan Sullivan, on the primary ballot.
“Campaign material metadata reveals that Amber Lee, a progressive consultant, authored a press release announcing the Senate bid for a second ‘Dan Sullivan’ — a figure Republican strategists say has nothing to do with incumbent Sen. Dan Sullivan, R-Alaska,” Fox News reported.
Sullivan’s website is making no bones about the fact that the purpose of his candidacy is to sow confusion among voters.
“Dan Sullivan challenges Dan Sullivan for U.S. Senate Seat, urges Alaskans to defeat incumbent, elect a Sullivan who stands up for Alaska,” the Democrat Dan Sullivan’s website reads.
Republicans understand the dirty game that Schumer and the Democrats are playing out in Alaska.
“Mary Peltola and Chuck Schumer know they can’t beat Senator Sullivan on his record, so they’re resorting to deceitful political maneuvers that attempt to trick Alaskans and buy a seat,” National Republican Senate Committee Spokesperson Nick Puglia said in a statement to Fox News Digital.
Polls show this scheme may work as Peltola leads Sullivan in the early polls.

Alaska is a notoriously difficult state to poll, and early polls aren’t indicative of the final results.
But Alaska is one of the GOP-held seats Democrats are targeting as one of the four they need to win to regain the Senate majority.
And Democrats believe they are in the game and don’t mind resorting to underhanded tactics to win.
