It just got triggered.
And an ugly sex scandal just led to these explosive articles of impeachment.
Georgia Congressman Andrew Clyde introduced articles of impeachment against Obama Judge Eleanor Ross of the Northern District of Georgia over an alleged extramarital affair Ross engaged in with a high-ranking Atlanta police officer.
In the articles of impeachment, Clyde alleged that Ross and the officer engaged in intimate contact, including, by admission of Judge Ross, sexual intercourse, and that Ross demonstrated a gross lack of judgment and created an uncomfortable and troubling workplace for staff members.
Clyde’s articles of impeachment accused Ross and the officer of engaging in sexual acts in Ross’ chambers that made so much noise that courthouse staff heard sounds resulting from the intimate contact coming from Judge Ross’ chambers.
The articles of impeachment also accused Ross of admitting she drank too many martinis at a campaign event for Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis the night before a criminal proceeding in her courtroom.
Clyde also argued that the affair left Judge Ross vulnerable to extortion since neither her husband nor the officer’s wife knew about their alleged sexual escapades.
The articles of impeachment were necessary, Clyde argued, because allegations of sexual misconduct called into question Ross’s ability to serve as a fair and impartial judge.
“When judges become political activists or engage in judicial misconduct, Congress bears both the responsibility and the constitutional authority to hold them accountable. Judge Ross’s deeply disturbing actions prove she is incapable of displaying integrity or showing impartiality. She’s simply unfit to remain a U.S. District Court Judge for the Northern District of Georgia, which is why I’m leading the charge to impeach Judge Ross and ultimately remove her from the bench,” a statement from Clyde to the Daily Caller read.
Trump supporters have been calling for articles of impeachment against rogue Democrat judges since Judge James Boasberg decided to appoint himself dictator above President Trump and claim the authority to order planes turned around in mid-air that were deporting illegal alien terrorists to a prison in El Salvador.
Other outlaw judges issued lawless orders attempting to block defunding Planned Parenthood, the construction of Trump’s ballroom, or executive orders restricting transgender surgeries for minor children.
The one tool at Congress’s disposal to rein in power-mad judges subverting America’s system of checks and balances is impeachment.
There is a long list of judges that Trump supporters would like to see Congress file articles of impeachment against.
Clyde’s push to remove Judge Ross will have to serve as a start.
