Amy Coney Barrett’s own words are fueling demands that she step down.

Justice Barrett betrayed conservatives on several key cases this year when she sided with liberals to overturn President Trump’s tariffs and executive order ending birthright citizenship for babies born to illegal aliens.
The conservative anger at Barrett only grew after her testimony before the House Appropriations Subcommittee regarding the Supreme Court’s request for increased security funding.
In her testimony, Barrett described having to explain to her children why she wore a bulletproof vest after leftist mobs began stalking her at her house following the leak of the Supreme Court’s opinion overturning Roe v. Wade.
“I carried it into my house, put it into my bedroom, dropped it down on a table, turned around, and my 12-year-old son was standing in the doorway of my bedroom, and he wanted to know what it was and why I had it,” Barrett testified.
“And I didn’t know how to respond because, maybe I lack imagination, but I didn’t expect that performing this service was going to put me in the position of explaining to my children what a bulletproof vest was, and why I had to wear one,” Barrett added.
Barrett went on to explain the toll the threats of leftist violence took on her family and described how she was the victim of “swatting,” a potentially deadly prank where someone calls in a fake hostage situation in the hopes that a SWAT team enters the target’s house and kills them.
“[The threats] have required me and my children to think about and see things that children should not have to see or think about,” Barrett added.
“One of my teenage sons opened the door to go out with friends and saw in our street that it was full of police cars, which had responded to a false report of gunshots and raised voices in my home,” Barrett continued.
The leak of the Supreme Court opinion overturning Roe and the leftist militias targeting conservative Supreme Court justices were a turning point for Barrett.
After left-wing terrorists menaced her family, Barrett flipped and began voting with the left on a more regular basis.

Conservatives were sympathetic to Barrett’s plight, but appalled that in her testimony she admitted the left was able to bully her.
That led to calls for Barrett to resign from the Supreme Court on account of her being unfit to stand up to the Democrat intimidation tactics.
“While the Leftist violence is appalling and should be repudiated by everyone, if you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen. The fight for the restoration of the Republic is real, and it is and will be vicious. Accept that those are the realities, but if you’re not up to it, step aside for someone who is,” conservative activist Ned Ryun wrote on X.
“Breanna 100% correct. Amy Coney Barrett should step down after this testimony. She just admitted she’s shook, and it clearly impacts her decisions. That’s FEAR on her face,” pro-Trump pollster Rich Baris wrote.
“Yes. It’s time for ACB to step down,” MAGA pundit Mike Cernovich declared.
